Weekly Themes

Your child will learn from a wide variety of weekly educational and fun themes.   With over 30 different themes your child will learn such things as All About Me, Food Groups, Community Helpers, Rainforest, Outer Space, My Family, Earth Day, Recycling, Oceans, Five Senses, and much more. Every child will find something they can get excited about!

Zoo-Phonics

The Zoo-phonics® Multisensory Language Arts Program is a kinesthetic, multi-modal approach to learning all aspects of language arts. The principle of Zoo-phonics® maximizes understanding, memory, utilization and transference to all areas of the reading, spelling and writing process in a playful and concrete manner.

Jumpin’ Numbers

Jumpin’ Numbers is a multi-sensory learning method using multiple senses simultaneously to teach and practice the material, thus increasing the number of pathways around the brain able to absorb and retain the information. For some children simple shape and number recognition from zero to ten is a problem. Because of this, Heidi developed the Jumpin’ Numbers and Shakin’ Shapes songs, multi-sensory songs, movements and flash cards. The flash cards all have a character embedded into each number. This character jogs the child’s memory to help him remember a motion and the name of the number.

Second Step: Social-Emotional Skills for Early Learning

Young children who can listen, pay attention, remember directions, and control their behavior will benefit more from preschool and be better prepared for kindergarten. The Second Step early learning program teaches self-regulation and executive-function skills that help children learn and skills to manage their feelings, make friends, and solve problems. Short daily activities include Brain Builder games, songs, and puppets.

Our teachers build their weekly lesson plans using our themes, Zoo-Phonics, Jumpin’ Numbers, and the Second Step curriculums, as well as their experience, imaginations, and attentive observations.
