The CalFresh Program, federally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), issues monthly electronic benefits that can be used to buy most foods at many markets and food stores. The CalFresh Program helps to improve the health and well-being of qualified households and individuals by providing them a means to meet their nutritional needs.

Camp Hope America

Camp Hope America – Pathways is part of the only evidence-based camping and year-round mentoring program in America to focus on youth exposed to domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.Children that take part in Camp HOPE, experience an evidence-based curriculum that is designed specifically to help them navigate their way to violence-free and abuse-free futures.

Far Northern Regional Center will provide services and supports that allows persons with developmental disabilities to live productive lives as welcomed members of their community.

Pathways To Hope

Pathways to Hope for Children is a non-profit organization that serves as an umbrella for a wide range of projects throughout Shasta County that provide community outreach, youth development, family support, and child abuse prevention education and awareness activities. We operate as Shasta County’s Child Abuse Prevention Coordinating Council.

SCOE Alternate Payment Program

The Certificated Child Care Programs assist eligible families in paying for child care services for children up to age thirteen. Children may be served beyond age thirteen if there is a documented special need. Families must meet income eligibility guidelines, work or live in Shasta and Tehama County and need child care because they are working, seeking work or enrolled in an approved education or training program. Help with child care may also be available for families who are seeking permanent housing, working with Child and Family Services toward reunification or if a parent is ill and needs child care for part of the day.

SCOE Bridges To Success

The Bridges To Success Program has been delivering services to Shasta County families and schools since 2001. Bridges Staff provide evidence-based mental health support to children, families, and schools when a child is experiencing challenges that disrupt their ability to fully participate in their learning.
